Just a few nerds making nerd things.  Tabletop RPGs can be a great way to spend time with friends but we found most game systems can suck that fun out of playing.  Over the past 7 years we've been carefully honing and expanding a game system that puts the fun of the action back in the players hands.

A whole new game to play in a whole new world.  The Foregone Trail uses playing cards to have a simultaneous play and puts the players into an all-new fantasy west world to build their adventures.

The Foregone Trail game play is based on a backbone of Texas Hold'em poker and allows all players to take actions and resolve them at the same time.

All play mechanics follow along with the pattern of declaring an action, getting your start cards and then 3 rounds of wagering and resolution.

This dramatically reduces player down time compared to player-turn based systems and adds the extra dimension of being able to manage your own risk/reward for the action you are taking.
